adidas has been toying around with the Tubular silhouette all summer long. The past month alone has seen the immensely popular model released in a Primeknit Tubular Nova PK, a Tubular Doom and a lush all-white Primeknit practically designed for lounging around the country club. Now the brand has introduced the Tubular in a wholly new silhouette dubbed the ?Instinct,? a model that adidas has described as the sneaker?s ?purest form.?
The ?Instinct? faithfully builds upon the original Tubular?s construction, with a continuation of the OG version?s suede and textile materials. It features a dramatic upper, one that has split tooling between a clean black colorway and a finish on the heel sporting a print that could almost pass for houndstooth. The heel also carries a trefoil branding, and rope laces that match the heel?s print.
Look out for the adidas Originals Tubular Instinct to drop in select retailers and on the brand?s online store on August 12.
