To celebrate the release of the latest adidas Tubular, the Caliroots team met up with the Redline Recordings crew for a few shots in the store’s downtown Stockholm backyard. Donning the new kicks were Salla, Kumba, Linda Pira and the new and upcoming artist Rob Bourne.
The Tubular revives the classic adidas runner from ’93, updating the silhouette with an emphasis on more technical and premium design elements. While the original looked to car tyres for inspiration (and even featured a pump so wearers could determine the outsole’s degree of cushioning), the modern Tubular features the distinct Qasa-esque sole and expands the colorways and materials used.
